Description
The WIKA DPT-20 is a high-performance differential pressure transmitter featuring metallic or piezoresistive measuring cells, multi-protocol communication (4-20 mA HART®, PROFIBUS® PA, or FOUNDATION Fieldbus™), safety ratings up to SIL 2 (SIL 3), and optional global hazardous area approvals (ATEX/IECEx intrinsic safety or flameproof enclosures).
Unlike standard single-port transmitters, the DPT-20 utilizes dual pressure connections to measure differential pressure across filters, pumps, and orifices, making it ideal for flow measurement, level monitoring in pressurized vessels, and filter clogging detection in heavy-duty chemical, oil and gas, and process engineering applications.
