Description
The WIKA CPT-20 and CPT-21 are high-performance industrial process transmitters featuring capacitive ceramic measuring cells, multi-protocol communication (4-20 mA HART®, PROFIBUS® PA, or FOUNDATION Fieldbus™), safety ratings up to SIL 2 (SIL 3), and optional global hazardous area approvals (ATEX/IECEx intrinsic safety or flameproof enclosures).
The core difference between the two models is their process interface: the CPT-20 utilizes a standard threaded pressure connection with high overload resistance for clean media, aggressive chemicals, and vacuum applications, whereas the CPT-21 features a flush diaphragm design to eliminate dead spaces, preventing build-up when measuring highly viscous, abrasive, crystallizing, or sanitary fluids in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing.
