Bearing/Embedment Thermocouple Sensors

Embedment thermocouple sensors are commonly inserted into thrust pads and used to monitor the bearing temperatures of rotating equipment, such as turbines. The early recognition of a rising temperature in the bearing can prevent costly failures caused by lubrication breakdown.
