Single and Dual Channel Models
Available as single channel (HDT-WiFi-TC) or dual channel (HDT-WiFi-DTC), these WiFi sensors measure the temperature of the environment in which the probe(s) are situated.
The HDT-WiFi-TC (single channel) is typically accurate to ±1.5°C / ±3°F.
The HDT-WiFi-DTC (dual channel) is typically accurate to ±1.5°C / ±3°F.
The single channel model is supplied with 1 x type K thermocouple probe and the dual channel model is supplied with 2 x type K thermocouple probes. Perfect for a wide range of temperature monitoring situations e.g. manufacturing processes, cold/hot storage and laboratory conditions. The probe is removable so alternatives can also be used to meet specific requirements providing they operate within the same temperature range. The units support K, J and T type thermocouple probes which are connected using miniature thermocouple connectors.
Data is streamed wirelessly over any WiFi network and can be viewed on a PC using the free EasyLog WiFi software (available for download using the link below) or on the EasyLog Cloud.
During configuration the sensor will search for an existing wireless network whilst physically connected to the PC. It can then be placed anywhere within range of the network. If the sensor temporarily loses connectivity with the network, it will log readings until it is able to communicate again with the PC application or EasyLog Cloud (max 30 days at 10 second sample interval). The range of the sensor can be increased by using WiFi extenders.
The battery can be recharged via a PC using the USB cable provided or via a USB +5V wall adapter (not included).
The EasyLog WiFi software will allow set-up, data logging and data review. Set-up features will include sensor name, °C/°F, sample rate, and high/low alarms. Once configured, historic data can be viewed via the graphing tool or exported into Excel.
The sensors are IEEE 802.11bgn (2.4GHz) compliant (MAC Address starting 98:8B:AD:2 only), supports WEP, WPA/WPA2 encryption and enterprise networks (PEAP, TTLS, FAST).
Both models have a protection rating of IP40. The units are freestanding, but can be attached to a wall or surface using the bracket provided. They can be clipped in and out of the bracket as required.
